Hello my name is Rasmus and im in hämeenlinna for 3 weeks. I come from estonia. I study here car mechanics. Here is some photos i have been taken in 2 weeks:

On the first week I took the fireworks exam and I past it. I had only 1 mistake.

Teachers are really good and friendly here. Also I have got many new Friends here. Im happy that I got to be here as student. I like that school and I will recomend this school for everyone.

Living economics are really good here. I will add some pictures more in future.

Hi,

on Friday after school I went to Aulanko park by foot. It was very beautiful.

Today I went to see the laamas near the Hämeenlinna I think. They were very cute. Each one had a different hairstyle. They were cool. At the same place they make pancakes and they even make them without eggs and milk, wow.

Thursday 17th

Hi,

today we went to the katsastus or inspection. It was interesting. We saw how many cars were inspected, one of them, I think, didn't pass, but others did. One had an oil leakage, other had bad brakes. They told us, that usually in the summer about 50 cars are tested per day, but in winter not so much and today was a surprisingly quiet morning, so we got to see and ask more, that was good. The one, who showed us around, is famous for breaking braking lines. He just finds the weak spot.

In the afternoon we went to "Futuuri messut 2011" we had a great time there, although there were a lot of people. We had candy and pens from there :D.

Tuesday

Hi

today we went to Turenki again and I was happy, because it was a better day. We got to remove engine almost, (almost, because at 13.00 we had to come home) and we got to do practical things. At first I was worried in the morning, when our instructor Marko said, that we maybe going to Turenki next weel also, because yesterday wasn't interesting there, but now I'm not worried any more :).

Hello!

Today we went to Turenki, where we were with one class, who had to do different tasks. They were learning cargo loading. It was not very interesting, because I didn't understand finnish and there were no practical things that we could do. Hope, that tomorrow will be better.

Friday and Saturday

Hi,

on friday, 11.11.11 we went to school and had a short battery lesson and we measured engine cylinder compression. It was a very short day, but it felt somehow really long :D.

Today I slept very long and then went out to a cottage with my friends from Hämeenlinna. I was the only one from Estonia and there was another young man from "Togu" or something like that, from Africa, learning I.T in Vasa. He was surprised and flattered to see, that the finnish people have this board game called "African Star". We had an idea, that it would be a good souvenir for him to take back to Africa. We had a very good time eating good things and playing games. I came home about 00:30 maybe, I hope, that it is ok and I don't have to give explanations about being out that long. I haven't lived in a dormitory before and it is quite odd, when you are an adult and have to give explanations to a stranger, why did you come home so late, but nobody asks you anything, if you don't come at all :D.

Probably going to have a good night sleep now, bye :)

Hello!

Today I went to school, where we did diagnostics to a Volvo and I went to social studies school, to study some suomi viittomakieli. It was very cool, I studied some finnish sign language words, that I don't know in estonian sign language. The teacher was very nice and the class was very active. There were about 20 girls and 2 boys, I think. An hour ago, we cooked with my fellow-students from Estonia and a boy from Hungary, we had the cheapest meal yet, 0,95€ for a person. It was pasta with sauce.
